So you want to know a little bit about me and my family.
Well my name is Brandon and this is me.

And here I am.

Well, I am Christian man, husband and father to one baby boy. I had been an atheist for much of my youth and into my early adulthood. Later, I became a young Earth creationist. However, my position changed when I began to educate myself on the topic. And then took the more unpopular position of being an evolutionary creationist Christian.
When it comes to discussing things, I’m typically the quiet person who sits back in the room and ends up, just observing the conversations. But when it comes to having a conversation with people I usually approach things a lot different than other people do.
This has a lot to do with my thought process, which more mimics the scientific method. By this I mean, I always assume whatever position I hold can be wrong (not necessarily that it is wrong), and it should always be challenged in order to show that it can hold up against scrutiny from other people. And when my position can hold up against scrutiny from other people who try to falsify that position, then it makes that position I hold, much more likely to be true then if it could not hold up against scrutiny.
This way of looking at things has allowed me to keep a much more open mind then many other people. And this has resulted in others people coming to me for a voice of reason within a debate or even an argument they may have.
Ultimately, I decided to do this blog to express my positions and opinions and to share them with the rest of the world.

Luz, who we call Darling because she is such a darling, is my wonderful wife. She is smart, beautiful, gentle and caring. She complements me in ways I never thought anyone would. Truly I am a blessed man to have her in my life. And you will read about her on my blog.

And this little guy is Elijah, Our son.
